General Wards

Visitors are welcome daily between the hours of 10am and 8pm. Because patient rest is very important to their overall recovery we advise that friends and family do not phone direct to patient’s room phone after 9.00 p.m. Similarly, we advise that visitors be minimal at 2 - 4 visitors at a time.

REST PERIOD FOR ALL WARDS - STRICTLY NO VISITORS
1.00 pm - 3.00 pm

ICU

By arrangement with nursing staff.

Visitor Gifts

Visitors are asked to consult with the nursing staff before giving patients gifts of food or drink as some items may compromise the patients treatment or tests.

Meals for Visitors

We encourage visitors to take advantage of our Coffee Shop located on the 2nd Floor. Relatives and visitors may purchase meals prepared by the Catering Department. Meals are at a minimum cost and should be paid for at reception.

Visitor Lounge

For visitor convenience, there are lounge areas located near Sutherland Unit and in Streeton Unit. An outside patient court-yard is also accessible from Streeton Unit and can be used by visitors and patients, weather permitting.
