Wes has been and continues to be involved in numerous research clinical trials. He has been involved in ‘first in man’ projects for cardiac devices including the Biomonitor 2 recording device. He is on the cutting edge of device technology having inserted the first LINQ loop recorder in the State of Victoria and more recently the first Leadless pacemaker in Victoria.
He continues to mentor other cardiologists in electrophysiology in this ever evolving space. Wes’ passion for teaching sees him lecture medical students through the University of Melbourne and also future Specialist Fellows through the Royal College of Physicians.
Wes is affiliated with several professional associations including the Royal College of Physicians of Australia, the Heart Rhythm Society and the Cardiac Society of Australia and New Zealand.
