Construction on Warringal Private Hospital’s $56 million expansion and redevelopment commences today (Tuesday, 30 April 2013) with the turning of the sod at the hospital, located in Heidelberg, Victoria. Victorian Health Minister David Davis, joined Ramsay Health Care Managing Director Chris Rex, Warringal Hospital CEO Graham Clarke, and Mayor of Banyule Council Cr Wayne Phillips, to mark the start of the development of a state-of-the-art medical facility. The project, funded by Ramsay Health Care, will see the hospital grow to a 215-bed facility and more than double its number of operating theatres.

Wigs@warringal is a community wig bank, proudly offered by Warringal Private Hospital, for patients who have lost their hair from chemotherapy. The Wig Bank is located within the new Day Oncology centre at 8 Martin Street Heidelberg. We are looking for volunteers from the community to be part of the wig bank, as well as a wig bank coordinator.
