Warringal Private Hospital Visiting Hours

During the COVID-19 Pandemic, our Patient and Visitor Guidelines have been amended for the safety of our patients, staff and Doctors, and are in line with Department of Health and Human Services recommendations.

Visitor Restrictions are being lifted from Saturday 23 April 2022:

  • Visiting Hours will be 3pm to 8pm (further restrictions apply in ICU and Day Oncology)
  • A maximum of 2 visitors at a time per patient is permitted to ensure social distancing
  • Visitors must be fully vaccinated (2 doses) or provide evidence of a negative RAT (self-supplied) on arrival
  • Visitors must wear a mask at all times within the hospital, including in patient rooms (children under 8 years are not required to wear a mask)
  • Visitors must sign in at the entrance to the patient ward. Hand hygiene must be completed. The visitor must exchange their own mask for a hospital issued mask available at the sign in station at the ward.
  • Visitors must maintain social distancing of at least 1.5m at all times
  • Visitors must limit movement around the hospital
  • Visitors must not be a household contact of a confirmed COVID case
  • Visitors must not have been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the previous seven days
  • Visitors must not be waiting the result of a COVID-19 test

Visitors outside of the above must request an exemption via the Nurse Unit Manager of the patients ward and will be reviewed on a case by case basis on the approval of the facility executive.
