Dr Manoj Obeyesekere received his MBBS from Monash University, Australia in the year 2000. He undertook cardiology specialist training in Melbourne (FRACP 2008) and subsequently 3 years of cardiac electrophysiology training in Melbourne and Canada (2009-2011). He received Fellowship of the Heart Rhythm Society in 2014 (FHRS). Dr Obeyesekere’s doctoral thesis titled “The assessment of arrhythmic risk and arrhythmic substrate in patients with a manifest or concealed accessory pathway” was awarded the degree Doctor of Medicine by Monash University in 2016. His research has been published in reputed international scientific journals such as Circulation, Circulation Electrophysiology, Heart Rhythm, Journal of Cardiovascular Electrophysiology, Pacing and Clinical Electrophysiology, Europace and International Journal of Cardiology. He is also a member of the editorial board of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology.
