Mr David Proud is a Colorectal and General Surgeon who has trained
in Australia and internationally. He consults in Heidelberg with rooms
adjacent to both the Austin Hospital and Warringal Private Hospital.
After receiving his medical degree from Monash University he went
on to complete training in general surgery at the Alfred Hospital in
Melbourne. He received his Fellowship in General Surgery from the
Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2016.
David has completed Post-Fellowship training in Colorectal Surgery
with the Colorectal Surgical Society of Australia and New Zealand
(CSSANZ) that included fellow positions at St Vincent’s University
Hospital in Dublin (Ireland) and at the Austin Hospital.
He is currently appointed to the Austin Hospital as a Consultant
Colorectal and General Surgeon and also operates at Warringal
Private Hospital.
