Specialising in Laparoscopic hernia, gallbladder and laparoscopic/robotic colorectal cancer surgery. He is also actively involved in bowel cancer screening with a special interest in bowel cancer and inflammatory bowel disease.

Mr Ravish Jootun is a laparoscopic and endoscopic surgeon who specialises in laparoscopic hernia, gallbladder and bowel surgery. He also performs both colonoscopy and gastroscopy and is actively involved in bowel cancer screening. 

Ravish graduated from the University of New South Wales and did his general surgical training in Melbourne. He then moved to Western Australia to undertake his laparoscopic bowel surgery fellowship before moving to Oxford University Hospital and Portsmouth NHS trust to do his laparoscopic and robotic colorectal fellowship. In 2017, he was appointed as a consultant in Northern Health. 

He has also published several peer-reviewed scientific papers and presented at international conferences. He teaches and lectures on all aspects of general surgical conditions, bowel cancer management and minimally invasive surgery. He is currently the co-investigator in several studies of robotic and cancer management in the UK.
