Interests - gynaecology, fertility and advanced laparoscopic surgery, with a focus on complex gynaecological surgery and minimally invasive gynaecology. She understands the importance of actively listening to her patients and ensuring quality and individualised care. Her qualifications and career experience have equipped her with the skills to offer minimally invasive options for complex surgical cases including excisional surgery for severe or stage IV endometriosis, large fibroids or difficult hysterectomies. This allows patients less post-operative pain, shorter hospital stay and faster recovery. Avelyn also welcomes referrals for general gynaecological services including the management of pelvic pain, adenomyosis, menstrual disorders.
