Terence is a Melbourne trained Orthopaedic Surgeon with a clinical focus exclusively in foot and ankle surgery, including minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Terence studied Medicine at the University of Adelaide, graduating in 1998. After completing his early surgical training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Adelaide, Terence moved to Melbourne for orthopaedic training, achieving his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2008.

Terence pursued further subspecialty training in foot and ankle surgery both locally in Melbourne and abroad. In 2009/2010, Terence undertook a foot and ankle fellowship at the Halifax Infirmary, Dalhousie University, Canada, under Professor Mark Glazebrook (past president of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society).

Terence's clinical focus is in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery, with a particular interest in :

  • Minimally invasive bunion and lesser toe corrections
  • Sports injuries
  • Arthritis
  • Joint deformities (eg flat feet, bunions, hammer toes)

Terence has an interest and frequently utilises minimally invasive and arthroscopic (keyhole) techniques in his surgery. This applies especially to bunion and lesser toe corrections.

During your consultation, Terence will thoroughly assess and clearly explain your condition. He will discuss suitable treatment options, including non-surgical treatments if appropriate. In addition to performing careful and skilled surgery, Terence and his team of administrative and nursing staff commit to working collaboratively with you to achieve pain relief and improved function for your foot and ankle.
