Mr Nigel Hartnett is an Orthopaedic Surgeon with a clinical focus in knee surgery in Melbourne.
Nigel obtained his fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery from the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010.
He received sub-specialty training in knee surgery under the mentorship of John Bartlett, along with knee fellowships with Julian Feller, Hayden Morris, and Tim Whitehead.
He consults on all knee conditions from sports injuries to osteoarthritis, and sees patients of any age group. Nigel sees uninsured, work cover, and TAC patients as well as those with private insurance.
Nigel's clinical focus is in all areas of knee surgery with particular interests in knee reconstruction (ACL, PCL, multi-ligament surgery, and patella stabilisation), partial / total knee joint replacement, and complex revision knee replacement.
He aims to provide his patients with the highest quality level of care, respect and understanding, and a commitment to giving patients the best possible outcome for their knee condition.
Nigel is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and the Australian Orthopaedic Association, a member of the International Society for Arthroscopy Knee and Orthopaedic Surgery, and an international member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
