Matt graduated from Monash University and then completed his Internship and Basic Physician training through Austin and Northern Health. He subsequently undertook specialist Respiratory and Sleep Medicine training through Eastern Health and Royal Melbourne Hospital.
Matt currently holds an appointment as a Respiratory and Sleep Physician at Royal Melbourne Hospital, and as a Clinical Research Fellow with Melbourne University, where he is involved in research in lung cancer and severe COPD. He consults privately with the Melbourne and Respiratory Sleep Services in Heidelberg, and at Melbourne Private Hospital.
Matt is a keen distance runner, previously competing at a national level locally and in the US college system.
